Hello everyone, my name is Jared and Iʼm from the great state of Ohio in the United States
of America.
皆さんはじめまして。bに新しく参画したJared（ジャレッド）です。アメリカのオハイオ州から来ました。

 

Have you heard of Ohio?
オハイオ州について皆さんご存知ですか？

 

Although I grew up in Ohio I moved to New York City after college for 2 years to work. Ohio being in the Midwest is very different from New york City.
私はオハイオで育ちましたが、大学を卒業してニューヨークに移住し、そこで2年間働きました。中西部にあるオハイオとニューヨークは何もかも違いますよ。

 

Ohio is more countryside and relaxed which is very different from NYC which is very
busy and there are many people from all over the world.
オハイオはニューヨークと比べてずっと田舎でリラックスしているし、ニューヨークはその反対でとても忙しく世界中から人々がやってきています。

 

First had a chance to meet Japanese people while working for Mitsubishi UFJ in NYC, I had many Japanese coworkers and we were able to talk a lot about our countries and cultures.
初めて日本の人と会ったのはニューヨークにある三菱東京UFJ銀行で働いていたときです。そこで、沢山の日本人の同僚と働く中、お互いの国のことや文化について話すことが出来ました。

 

I quickly realized the importance of learning different languages and decided to come to Japan to learn Japanese.
そうした経験を通じて、異なる言語を学ぶことの大事さに気づいて思い切って日本語を勉強するために日本に来ることにしました。

 

It is so interesting not only learning the language but also the culture, food and getting around Tokyo.
言葉を学ぶことだけでなく、文化、食べ物、そして東京を歩き回ることは本当に楽しいです！

 

I have been at b for 2 weeks now and I am really enjoying meeting all the members and talking about where we are from, our jobs and of course teaching useful English along the way.
まだ、bで働き始めて2週間だけだけど新しいメンバーの皆様とお会いできることはとても楽しいし、レッスンの中で役立つ英語表現を伝えることを通じて、お互いがどこの出身なのか、また、仕事のことなどを話せることは本当に楽しいです。

 

My hobbies include: playing golf, snowboarding, watching American football and going out drinking with friends.
（ちょっと自己紹介になりますが）自分の趣味は、ゴルフ、スノーボーディング、アメリカンフットボールの観戦と、そして、もちろん友人と飲みにいくことです。

 

People from japan who do not know Ohio often ask me what is famous from there so I
wanted to share some famous companies from Ohio you may know like:
オハイオのことをあまり知らない日本の方は、オハイオの有名なものって何ですか？って聞かれます。そこで、たぶん皆知っているオハイオにある有名な会社は、

and Wendy's are all from my city in Ohio.
そして、ウェンディーズもオハイオの私のホームタウンが本社なんだ。

 

 

 

American Football is very popular and we have the best college team (sometimes) named Ohio
State (also the largest college in America with 54,000 students). Can you read the Ohio?
そして、アメリカンフットボールはオハイオではとても人気があって、オハイオ州立大学はカレッジフットボールではもっとも有名なんだ（オハイオ州立大学は54,000人の学生がいて一番大きな大学です）。オハイオの文字（人文字）が見えるかな？
