'Run out of' means to exhaust a supply or quantity of something. It has
both a literal & a figurative meaning.
Run out ofとは、何かの供給量や数量を使い果たす(使い切る)という意味です。
文字通りの意味と比喩的なものとの両方があります。

time.
Business: I'm sorry we will have to cut the meeting short, we seem to have
run out of time.

'Run out of money'-
Everyday: make sure you take your credit card so you don't run out of
money while you're away (on holiday).
Business: it seems the company has run out of money this quarter, as our
budget predictions were off.

'Run out of steam' means to lose motivation or the energy to do something:

'Run out of gas'- has both a literal & figurative meaning.
Literal: we were late to the party as our car ran out of gas.
Figurative: the meaning is the same as 'run out of steam.' I tried to
keep talking to him but I ran out of gas because I was so tired.
Run out of gasは文字通りなものと比喩的なものと両方の意味があります。
文字通り：車がガス欠したので、私たちはそのパーティに遅れた。
比喩的：意味はrun out of steamと同じ。
