We both enjoy embroidery as a hobby and want to share what we are working on!
It is time-consuming but the results are so beautiful.

二人とも趣味で刺繍を楽しんでいるんですが、最近作っているものをご紹介したいと思っています！
刺繍は時間がかかりますが、仕上がりはとてもは美しいんですよ！

Nekane;
I like expressing the fine details of natural motifs through embroidery.
I mostly do flowers or plants, and I like to use bright colors.
My latest project is a 3D Wisteria flower (藤).
I focused on the texture of the purple flowers.
I have never seen a Wisteria plant in real life. Hopefully, I can see one this spring!
自然のモチーフの細かいディテールを刺繍で表現するのが好きです。
お花や植物を刺繍することが多くて、明るい色使いが好みだわ。
最近では3Dの藤のお花を作っていて、紫の花の質感にこだわりました。
実際には藤の花は見たことがないので、この春見れたらいいなと思っています！

Skye;
I usually make embroidered pillowcases and napkins but right now I am working on a carp streamer (鯉のぼり) scene to bring back home to my mom.
It is my first time working with gold thread!
My favorite stitch is called a ‘Satin Stitch’.
It is made by filling in an area completely with thread.

いつもは枕カバーやナプキンに刺繍をして楽しんでいますが、今は母へのお土産として鯉のぼりの刺繍を作っています。
金糸を使うのは初めてなの！
私の好きなステッチは『サテンステッチ』と呼ばれるものです。
このステッチは、一部分を完全に糸で埋めていく方法です。
鯉のぼりの吹き流しの部分がそうなのよ！
