December is the perfect time to slow down, stay warm, and enjoy a good book. Today, I’d love to share some book recommendations with you — from beginner to intermediate level. You might have already read some of these stories in Japanese, but they’re also perfect for English study, so I hope you’ll enjoy giving the English versions a try!

今回は、英語初級〜中級レベルにおすすめの本をご紹介します。

This is a fun and exciting story about a young girl named Matilda who has a special power called telekinesis — the ability to move things with her mind. She is very smart, loves to read books, and grows stronger through her courage and kindness. The story is full of humor, adventure, and heart.

All of these books are short, easy to read, and perfect for English learners. Even though the English is simple, the stories are still touching, exciting, and fun to enjoy. As we head into the colder December days, why not stay warm, relax, and try reading one of these books in English?
