Summer is upon us, & the temperature hits the thirties every day. In my
hometown, Auckland New Zealand, thirty degrees is a heatwave but in Tokyo
it's normal. The best way to escape the heat is to hit the beach or go
traveling. Is anybody going overseas for their summer vacation?

I hope you all enjoy your summer vacation wherever you go.
I will be spending two days in Izu, cooling down at the beach &
enjoying hot springs & Japanese-style hospitality at the ryokan.
I love hot springs! The first time I went to a hot spring in Japan
I was very surprised that nobody wears swimsuits.
We have hot springs in New Zealand but you wear swimsuits.
Now, I'm used to Japanese-style hot springs so no swimsuit is no problem :)

私は二日間、伊豆に行くのよ！ビーチで涼んで、温泉に入って、日本流のおもてなしを満喫するわ！
温泉って大好き！日本で初めて温泉に行ったとき、誰も水着を着ていなくてビックリよ！
ニュージーランドにも温泉があるんだけど、そこでは水着を着るわ。
今では、日本の水着なしの温泉スタイルにも慣れました。
今度、ｂに来た時に、夏休みの土産話を楽しみにしていま〜す！！！
