The Wind Promenade by Andrea

Hi b-members! The weather is getting warmer, so it’s a nice time to take a relaxing walk.
One of my favorite streets to walk on runs from Mitaka station to Inokashira Park.
It’s called 風の散歩道, or in English, the Wind Promenade. (Promenade often means a walking street with nice views).
こんにちは！だんだんと暖かくなってきて、のんびりと散歩するのにちょうどいい季節になりましたね。
私のお気に入りの散歩道のひとつは三鷹駅から井の頭公園まで続く道です。
『風の散歩道』と呼ばれていて、英語にすると『Wind Promenade（ウィンド・プロムナード）』と言うんですよ。”Promenade”は通常、素敵な景色が楽しめる散歩道のことを指します。

This street runs next to the Tama River, and there are many trees and flowers.
In the spring, we can see cherry blossoms. In the summer, I have seen turtles relaxing next to the river.
There are adorable bus stop signs with Totoro poking his head out along the way.
この道は玉川上水沿いにあって、木々や花々がたくさん咲いています。
春には桜を見ることができますし、夏には亀が川辺でリラックスしているのを見たことがあります。
道沿いには、トトロがひょっこり頭を出しているとても可愛らしいバス停もあるんですよ。

This area also has some historical interest — there is a Memorial Museum to Yuzo Yamamoto and also a stone memorial to Osamu Dazai.
If you start at Mitaka station, it takes about 15 minutes to walk to Inokashira Park.
When the street ends, you will be near the Ghibli Museum and Inokashira Park Zoo.
山本有三記念館や太宰治の記念石碑などがあり、歴史的にも興味深いエリアです。
三鷹駅から井の頭公園までは徒歩15分くらいで、歩き終わるとジブリ美術館や井の頭自然文化園（動物園）にたどり着きます。
