So… I Bought Golf Clubs!? Here’s Why by Victoria

Let me tell you the truth about it:
~I’ve NEVER been interested in it.~

On the contrary, I’ve always thought it was a very boring and kind of a lackluster sport.
Of course, that’s just MY opinion.

HOWEVER. On June 30th, I bought my first set of golf clubs from Golf Partner.
Of course, they are used.

正直に言うと――
これまで一度も興味を持ったことがなかったの。

むしろ、ずっと「退屈そうで、ちょっと地味なスポーツだなあ」って思ってたわ。
（あくまで私の個人的な意見です！）

それなのに、6月30日、ゴルフパートナー（ゴルフ用品店）で、人生初のゴルフクラブセットを買っちゃいました。
もちろん、中古です！

So, why did I buy these golf clubs?
Well, my husband is a big golf enthusiast.
And he is the type of person to always support and encourage all my hobbies. (And I have many hobbies.)

Last year, my husband said:
‘It’s my dream to play golf with you someday. I want to teach you to play golf so we can play together.’

I wasn’t so excited about it but I want to be supportive too so that’s why I bought golf clubs.
買った理由はね――
実は、夫が大のゴルフ好きなんです。
彼は、たくさんある私の趣味をいつも応援してくれる人。

そんな夫が昨年、こう言ったの。
「いつか一緒にゴルフをするのが夢なんだ。ゴルフを教えて、ふたりでプレーできたらいいなって思ってる」

そのときは正直、そこまで乗り気ではなかったけれど――
彼のその気持ちが嬉しくて、私も応援したいなと思って。だから、思い切ってゴルフクラブを買ったの。
