今回は10月のイディオムです、これはアニマルイディオムのリストになります！
cat gets one`s tongue.
means-one cannot speak because of shyness
The cat got Bill`s tongue and he couldn`t speak when I introduced him to Ai.
猫が舌を持って行ってしまう
意味：恥ずかしくて口がきけない
(例)ビルってば、黙りこくって。私がビルをアイに紹介したら恥ずかしくて喋れなかったのよ。
curiosity killed the cat
means- being too nosy may lead a person into trouble
Before worrying about what others are doing, one should always remember
that curiosity killed the cat.
好奇心もほどほどに（好奇心が猫を殺した）
意味：よけいなお節介は、トラブルのもとになる
(例)他人の詮索をする前に、好奇心を抑えることを忘れてはいけません。
dog-eat-dog
means – ready or willing to fight and hurt others to get what one wants
It`s a dog- eat-dog world in the business world.
共食い（犬が犬を食べる）
意味：何かを手に入れるために好んで闘ったり、他人をきずつけること
(例)ビジネスの世界は食うか食われるかだ。
get off one`s high horse
means – to begin to be humble and agreeable
Bill should get off his high horse and think about the wishes of the rest of the group.
威張るのをやめる（高い馬から降りる）
意味：謙虚な、感じ良くなる
(例)ビルは謙虚になって、もっと他人が何を望んでいるのか考えるべきだよ。
hold one`s horses
means – to wait be patient
Hold your horses, I will be there in a second.
はやる気持ちを抑える（馬を抑える）
意味：辛抱強く待つ
(例)もうちょっと大人しく待っててよ、すぐに行くからさ。
the black sheep of the family
means – the worst or the most unpopular or disliked member of the family
My uncle is the black sheep of the family.
一家の厄介者（一家の黒羊）
意味：家族の中で一番最悪な、人気のない、もしくは一番嫌いな人のこと
(例)私の叔父は一家の厄介者なんです。
cash cow
means- a product or service that makes a lot of money.
The Ipod has proven to be a cash cow for Apple.
お金を産む牛
高い利益を生み出す商品やサービス
(例)iPodはアップル社の稼ぎ頭であることを証明している。
loaded for bear
means- very angry
Jane was loaded for bear when she went to see the manager.
クマと戦う準備をする
意味：怒っている
ジェーンはマネージャーに会いに行った時、けんか腰だった。
