Hello Everyone and Happy Halloween! October is my first month teaching at bWatashino and
I`m really enjoying meeting all of the students.
So far, I`ve met members whose hobbies include cooking, snorkeling, hiking and
learning new languages. Interesting! I like to hear about member`s interests and
hobbies, because sometimes I decide to try something new that a student has suggested…
ハローみなさん！ハッピーハロウィン！
10月は私にとって初めて”ｂ”で教える月で、たくさんのbのみなさんに会えるの が楽しい毎日よ。
いまのところ、お料理、シュノーケリング、ハイキングや新しい言葉を学ぶこと が
趣味というbのみなさんに会ったわ。とても興味深いわ！
もっとみんなの趣味や興味のあることを聞きた いわ、
だって時々bのメンバーから勧められた新しいことに挑戦しようと思うのよ。
I love autumn in Tokyo, and I try to get outside and walk around
in the beautiful weather whenever I can.
My favorite places to go are Ueno and Kichijoji parks, as well as Takao-san.
I went to Takao-san for hiking on October 13 but I didn`t know that it was Exercise Day.
Everyone else in Tokyo was climbing Takao-san, too.
There were so many people that we had to wait in line to hike the trail!
私は秋の東京が大好きで、外に出かけてどんなときもできるだけこの美しい気候 の
中歩こうと思っているの。私のお気に入りの場所は上野公園は吉祥寺（井の頭公園）
あと高尾山も好きよ。10月13日に高尾山に行ったのだけどこんなにも運動をするなんて知らなかったわ。
東京からの登山者もたくさん高尾山に上っていたわ。
本当にたくさんの人が山を 登るために列を作って待っていたのよ。
I`m looking forward to the winter and cold weather.
Japan has so many blue-sky days during winter that I like it better than the summer.
This winter, I`d like to start cross-country skiing again.
When I lived in Alaska I went skiing several times a week during the winter.
I got so much exercise I never needed to go the gym!
If anyone knows a good place to go cross-country skiing near Tokyo, please let me know!
あと、冬の寒い季節が来るのも楽しみだわ。日本は何日もブルースカイが冬の間 続いて
私は夏よりも好きだわ。今年の冬はまたクロスカントリースキーを始めたいと 思っているの。
私がアラスカに住んでいたとき、冬の間、週の何度もスキーに行ったわ。
すっごくいい運動になっていたからジムには一度も行く必要はなかったわ！
もしみなさんの中で東京近郊のどこかでクロスカントリースキーができるいい場 所を
知っていたらわたしにぜひ教えてね！
October also means that I`m looking forward to my favorite winter
foods- tonjiru and oden from AM/PM. Yum!
それから10月はわたしの大好きな冬の食べ物、豚汁とＡＭＰＭ（コンビニ）の
おでんを食べるのが待ちきれないわ！ おいしそう！
