So far I have been talking about Japan and sakura trees. This time let me tell you a bit about Denmark, especially my hometown Ribe.
皆さんこんにちは。
前回は日本と桜についてお話しました。今回はわたしのホームタウン、デンマークのリーべについて少しお話しさせてください。
Ribe is the oldest city in Scandinavia, it is one year younger than Nara, it used to be the capital in the middle ages and many important people were born there.
Every year many tourists visit my town and I used to work in the tourist information office.
Ribe has many events and it is also famous for the many natural phenomenons that happen every year.
リーベはスカンジナビアで最も古い都市です。奈良よりも１年若く、かつて中世では首都として、またたくさんの重要人物がそこで誕生しました。
リーベには毎年たくさんの観光客が訪れます、私もかつては観光情報局で働いていました。
リーベはたくさんのイベントがあります。また、毎年様々な自然現象が起こることでも有名です。
The next big event to happen in Ribe will be the tulip festival in the beginning of May, this is when clubs, companies, schools and so on, make fantastical floats with tulips.
Every year has a theme, and this year it is Disney. So there are many possibilities.
次の大きなイベントは5月はじめに行われるチューリップフェスティバルです。愛好会や会社、学校が参加し、チューリップとともに気球を浮かべます。
毎年テーマがあり、今年のテーマは「ディズニー」です。
There will also be tents for food and drinking, and many lunches, the most famous lunch is the woman’s lunch.
Women of many ages gather to eat and drink(a lot) while being served by good looking guys.
そこではたくさんのフードやドリンク、ランチの屋台が出店します。特に有名なランチは『Woman’s Lunch』です。
様々な年齢層の女性たちがイケメン達にもてなされ食事を楽しみます。
For the young people of Ribe a traveling amusement park comes to town with many attractions you can ride and games you can play.

またリベの若者たち向けに移動式遊園地も来るのでたくさんのアトラクションを楽しむことができます。
