My Trip to Okinawa by Matthew

Recently I went to Okinawa.
I had wanted to go for a long time so I was glad to finally make a plan to go!
I met my cousin at Naha airport, he was in the middle of an Asia trip, and before he met me he had been in Taiwan.
最近、沖縄に行ってきました。
ずっと行きたかったのでやっと行けて良かったです！
那覇空港で私のいとこに会いました。彼は中央アジアを旅していて私に会う前は台湾に行っていました。

On the first night I went to Kokusui-doori.
I was surprised to see so many steak houses!
We ate spicy fried chicken and bottles of Orion beer as well as Shikuwasa.
Shikuwasa beer had a really interesting , unique taste.
I want to try to find Shikuwasa beer in Tokyo too !
初日の夜は国際通りに行きました。
スパイシーフライドチキンを食べたり、シークヮーサービールはもちろん、オンオリオンビールも飲みました。
シークヮーサービールはとても興味深く、面白い味でした。
東京でもシークワーサービールを見つけたいです！

On the first day we went whale watching.
I was lucky to see a bunch of whales, and one of them even jumped out of the water!
It was amazing, and I recommend going whale watching at least once if you have a chance.
初日にはクジラウォッチングをしました。
クジラの大群に出会い、その中の一頭が水中からジャンプする姿も見れてラッキーでした！
感動的なので、皆さんも機会があれば一度はクジラウォッチングに行く事をオススメします。

On the next day we rented a car and drove to Kouri Island.
There is a beautiful bridge leading up to the island and the beach was my favorite place.
We ate taco rice in a beachside cafe.
次の日は、車を借りて古宇利島に向けて運転しました。
島に通じる美しい橋があり、ビーチは私のお気に入りの場所でした。
ビーチサイドのカフェでタコライスを食べました。

After that, we went to Bise Fukugi tree road.
The road was very relaxing and I was able to find some power spots.
Many people rent bicycles and ride around but I recommend walking too.
その後、備瀬のフクギ並木通りに行きました。
通りはとても落ち着いていて、いくつかのパワースポットを見つけることが出来ました。
多くの人々はレンタサイクルに乗っていましたが、歩くのもおすすめです。

Finally, we drove up a hilly area of the north island.
The GPS wasn’t working on the local roads so we got a little lost.
Luckily, we stumbled upon a nice restaurant with an amazing view. We enjoyed pizza toast.
It was great!
最後に、北島の丘陵地帯を運転しました。
ローカルな道でGPSが作動しなかったので少し迷いました。
幸いな事に素敵な景色を眺められるレストランを偶然見つけて、ピザトーストを楽しみました。
とっても美味しかったです！
