Recently I went to Enoshima for the first time.
It was quite cold and windy but to me it seemed like a mix of Hawaii and the German Islands in the North sea.
You can also go to the beach there but most of the times it’s too cold. I kind of got the same feeling when I was in Enoshima.
先日、初めて江ノ島に行きました。
寒くて風も強く、（寒冷な）北海のドイツの島々のようだと思ったけれど、どこか（南国の）ハワイっぽい雰囲気もあったわ。
そこでもビーチに行くことはできますが、たいていは寒すぎて楽しめません。その日の江ノ島も同じ感じがしました。
I went into a cave that had many pretty lights.
They gave us a small candle to walk around which was very romantic.
I really liked the atmosphere but it was only a small cave. I could have walked around in there for hours.
きれいなライトがたくさんある洞窟に入ったの。
小さなキャンドルを渡され、それを持って歩いて回ったんだけど、とてもロマンチックだったわ。
すごく素敵な雰囲気で、洞窟自体は小さかったけれど、何時間でも歩いていられそうでした。
The birds scared me a little.
I saw them attacking some tourists because they wanted to steal their food but luckily I could eat my ice cream and senbei in peace.
At the beach in Germany you also have to be careful because the seagulls will try to steal your food, too. It never happened to me though.
島の鳥たちには少しびっくりしたわ。
観光客の食べ物を奪おうとして攻撃しているのを見たの。でも私はアイスクリームとお煎餅を無事に食べることができてラッキーだったわ。
ドイツのビーチでも、カモメが食べ物を取ろうとするので注意が必要なんだけど、私はまだ一度もそんな目に遭ったことはないのよ。
It was great to breathe the fresh air. While living in Tokyo, my body really misses nature.
Also I ate really good seafood. I never ate イカ in Germany but in Japan I often buy a grilled one. It’s one of my favorite street foods now!
美味しい空気を吸ってとても気持ち良かったわ。東京に住んでいると、自然が恋しくなるからね。
そして、とても美味しいシーフードを食べたわ。ドイツではイカを食べたことがなかったけれど、日本ではよく焼きイカを買います。今では大好きな食べ歩きグルメなんです！
