Hello everyone! My name is Stephanie and I am a new Lesson Partner here.
I am from Vancouver, Canada.
皆さんこんにちは！b に新しく入ったレッスンパートナーで、Stephanie（ステファニー）といいます。
カナダのバンクーバー出身です。
Vancouver is famous for its surrounding nature.
It sits between the ocean and the mountains and there are lots of forests nearby.
It is a popular place for people who enjoy outdoor activities like camping and hiking in summer and skiing or snowboarding in winter.
バンクーバーは自然に囲まれていることで有名なの。
海と山に挟まれていて、近くには森もたくさんあるわ。
アウトドアアクティビティが好きな人には、夏はキャンプやハイキング、冬はスキーやスノーボードなどが人気だわ。
I came to Japan near the end of 2018 to study Japanese and design.
I have worked as an English teacher in Canada and South Korea, but I also do design work in my spare time.
2018年の暮れに日本語とデザインの勉強のため来日したの。
カナダと韓国で英語講師として働いていたけど、デザインの仕事もしているの。
I have been living in Yokohama since I arrived in Japan, and I really love it!
Yokohama has a much more convenient transportation system than Vancouver, and there are also so many great cafes and restaurants to try here!
来日してからずっと横浜に住んでいて、とても大好きな街なの。
横浜はバンクーバーより交通が便利で、気になるカフェやレストランもたくさんあるわ！
My hobbies include playing video games, watching Netflix, and visiting new cafes.
I especially love finding new cafes on a rainy day and sitting by a window with a nice hot chocolate.
If you have any recommendations for nice cafes in Yokohama or Tokyo, please let me know!

特に雨の日に新しいカフェを探して窓側の席でホットチョコレートを飲むなんて最高ね。

Recently I’ve also started collecting houseplants.
I don’t know much about them yet, but I’m trying my best to take good care of them!
