announce a decision のように公表内容を目的語に置くか、announce that S + V で公表した文を続けます。人を直後に置く announce us は通常使いません。

よくある間違い
× announce us the decision
announceはtellのように「人＋内容」を続けません。announce the decision to us または tell us about the decision とします。
discloseを普通のお知らせに使う
営業時間の変更など、一般的な告知ならannounceやinformが自然です。discloseは秘密性・重要性のある情報の開示に向いています。
revealをすべての公式発表に使う
revealには「隠れていたものが見える」というニュアンスがあります。通常の予定公表ならannounceを使います。
publicとpublishを混同する
public は「公の」という形容詞・名詞、publish は「発行・公開する」という動詞です。make the report public と publish the report はどちらも使えますが、前者は公開状態、後者は発行行為に焦点があります。
