My name`s Laura and I started at b only last week! I`m already liking it

私の名前はローラです。先週からb わたしの英会話で働き始めたばかりなんだけど、
とっても気に入ってます！
I`m originally from London, but I`ve lived in Scotland for the last 13
years so my accent is half English and half Scottish.
私はロンドン出身なんだけど、１３年前までスコットランドに住んでたんです。
だからアクセントはミックスかもしれないわ。
Some people say this is a difficult combination because of all the
rivalry between the two countries, but I`m not very patriotic so that
doesn`t matter so much!
でも、二つの国はライバル心があるからちょっと難しい組み合わせってみんなは
言うけど、私はそこまで愛国心がないからそんなに気にしないんだけどね。
I have two younger sisters called Cathryn and Jenny, as well as a cat
called Maisie. I love cats — especially tabby cats, because they`re so
cute but also a bit wild!
私にはキャサリンとジ二―っていう二人の妹がいるの。
あとネコのメイシーちゃん。

Before I went to university I lived in Perth, which is about one hour
north of Edinburgh, the capital of Scotland.
大学に行く前はスコットランドの首都エデンバラから１時間北にあるパースに住
んでたの。
I studied in a place called Aberdeen, which is known as `the granite
city` because many of the buildings there are made from granite. I
enjoyed living in Aberdeen — it was by the sea and it had a lot of
really good shops!
花崗岩で作られた建物がたくさんある町で花崗岩の町と言われているアバディーン
と呼ばれる町で勉強していたの。
アバディーンの生活はとても楽しかったよ。海に近くて、たくさんお店があったの。
It was a lot smaller than Tokyo, but I love living here now. I think
Tokyo is really exciting, I really like all the different areas, and how
you can always find something to do, whatever mood you`re in.
アバディンは東京より全然小さい街だったナ。
今は東京の生活が大好き！
わくわくすることがいっぱいだし、いろんなエリアがあって、様々な楽しみ方が
出来ちゃう♪
