Hi! My name is Jodie Simms, from St. John’s, Newfoundland, Canada (an
island on the east coast), and I’ll be starting here this Thursday^^
I’ve been teaching English in Japan for a year and 7 months, and for 13 of
those months I taught in Gifu city and lived in Nagoya. I loved living in
Nagoya, and I often refer to it as my hometown!
I was very sad, at first, when i moved to Tokyo. But I moved here for a
reason.
I’m an artist, and I want to pursue a career in media/advertising
photography in Japan, so i moved to Tokyo to build a new portfolio:)
The first few months in Tokyo were hard for me, but now Tokyo has become my
second home (second to Nagoya^_~) and I’ll probably be here for a while!
I can be a very genki person and you’ll usually see me with a smile^^
I’m really easygoing and I love meeting and talking with new people!
so I hope to speak with a lot of you soon!
oh! and if you’re interested please feel free to look at my webpage;
www.jodisimms.com and let me know what you think!
see you later!
Jodie
