My name is Ana and I am a new Lesson Partner at b.
こんにちは、みなさん！私はアナ。ｂの新しいレッスンパートナーよ。
I am from the US. I have lived in different places
but New York City is where I feel most at home.
アメリカ出身なんだけど、いろいろな所に住んでたの。
私にとってはニューヨークがホームタウンね。
I decided to take a break from my life in the US to explore Asia.
I love to travel and to experience other cultures.
アジアを探索したくて、アメリカでの生活から離れることにしたの。
旅行や、異文化を感じるのが大好き！
I had originally planned to work in China, but then the funniest thing happened:
最初は中国で働こうと思ったんだけど、面白いことが起こってね。。。
After 2 days in Beijing I took a short trip to Japan to see a concert
– Arcade Fire, a band from Montreal – and during this time I fell in love with Japan and I found myself asking,
“What am I doing in China??!!”.
北京に着いて2日後に、モントリオールのバンド（Arcade Fire）のコンサートを見に、
日本へ旅行に行ったの。その瞬間、日本に恋しちゃって、自問したわ
｢私は中国で何をしてるの？｣
I only returned there to pick up my suitcase!
And now I am very excited to start my new life in Japan!
中国にスーツケースを取りにだけ帰って、今は日本での新しい
生活を楽しんでるわ！
One of the things I love the most about this country is the language.
It is music to my ears! I plan to study Japanese during my free time.
この国で好きなことの一つは、言葉よ！音楽みたいに聞こえるの！
時間があれば日本語の勉強をしてるわ。
As a fellow language-learner, I can understand what a struggle it can be sometimes.
But I believe if you stay passionate about your goal, even the difficulties can taste sweet!
語学を学ぶ事がどれだけ苦しいことなのか分かった気がする。
でもゴールに向かって一生懸命になれば、難しくたって楽しくなるよ！
