「予定通りです」を英語にするとき、いつでも同じ表現になるわけではありません。決めた時刻に遅れていないなら on time、予定表どおりに進んでいるなら on schedule、計画した内容どおりになったなら as planned が基本です。
日本語ではどれも「予定通り」で済みますが、英語では「何が合っているのか」を意識すると迷いません。この記事では、よく混同する in time、according to plan、as scheduled、on track まで初心者向けに整理します。

on timeは「決めた時刻に遅れず」
on time は、約束や開始の時刻に遅れていないことです。「時間ぴったり」の場合だけでなく、締め切りなどの決められた時刻に間に合っている場合にも使えます。

right on time は「まさに時間ぴったり」です。You’re right on time. なら「ちょうど時間通りですね」と歓迎するように言えます。反対に「遅れそう」と伝える表現はI’m running late・I’ll be lateの違いで詳しく解説しています。
on timeとin timeの違い
on time は「決めた時刻に遅れず」、in time は「手遅れになる前に、間に合って」です。

just in time は「ぎりぎり間に合って」です。「時間ぴったり」を言いたいときは right on time と区別しましょう。
on scheduleは「予定表どおりに進んで」
schedule は日程表や工程表です。したがって on schedule は、一つの時刻よりも、仕事や計画全体の進み具合が予定に合っていることを表します。

予定より早い・遅いはahead of schedule・behind schedule

as plannedは「計画した内容どおり」
as planned は、行動や出来事が当初考えていた内容どおりに実行されたことを表します。時間だけでなく、方法や結果を含む「計画の中身」が中心です。

予定通り進めます。 - The trip didn’t go as planned.
旅行は計画通りにはいきませんでした。 - She arrived on Monday, as planned.
彼女は予定通り月曜日に到着しました。
according to plan も「計画に沿って」という意味で、少し説明的・改まった響きがあります。Everything is going according to plan. は「すべて計画通りに進んでいます」です。なお、according the plan ではなく、必ず according to plan とします。
「予定通り開催します」はas scheduledが便利
会議やイベントの日程が変更されず、そのまま実施されることを明確にするなら as scheduled が自然です。
- The event will take place as scheduled.

会議は予定通り行われます。 - Classes will continue as scheduled.
授業は予定通り続けられます。 - We will proceed as planned.
計画した内容どおり進めます。
as scheduled は決められた日程どおり、as planned は計画した内容どおり、という焦点の違いがあります。
「順調です」はon trackも使える
on track は「目標を達成できそうな道筋にある」という意味です。工程表にぴったり合っている on schedule と完全に同じではありません。
- We’re on track to meet our target.
目標を達成できる見込みです。 - The project is on track for completion in May.
プロジェクトは5月に完了できる見込みです。 - So far, so good.
