Every New Years Eve in New York’s Times Square many many people gather
to “Watch the Ball Drop”
ニューヨークでは毎年大晦日に沢山の人達がタイムズスクエアの“Ball Drop”に集まるんだ。
10.9.8.7.6.5.4.3.2.1… Happy New Year!!!!
10.9.8.7.6.5.4.3.2.1・・ってカウントダウンして “ハッピー・ニュー・イヤーっ！”
If you say: I’m going to “watch the ball drop” , everyone knows what this means.
It means the Times Square New York New Years Eve celebration.
もしみんなが“Ball Drop”に行くっていったら誰もがタイムズスクエアの
大晦日のお祝いを思い浮かべるよ。
New Years Eve is a very special Night!
大晦日の夜はほんとに特別だよね!!
We can look back on the past year and decide if it was a good year or a bad year for us,
And! We can look ahead to Next Year and all our dreams and hopes for the coming year.
一年を振り返っていい年だったなぁ･･･とか、うまくいかない年だったなぁ･･･なんて改めて
考え直したり、そうだ！来年ことは･･･と気持ちを新たに、願いを込めたり。
This year will be the 100th Anniversary of the Times Square New Years Eve Ball Drop!
今年の大晦日は“Ball Drop”のお祝いがタイムズスクエア行なわれてから100回目となる
記念すべき日なんだ!!!
It’s made from traditional Waterford Crystal dating back 200 years and the most High Tech
flashing lights.
“Ball Drop”は200年をさかのぼる歴史を持ったウォータークリスタルとキラキラと点滅
する沢山のライトで作られたものなんだ。

“Ball Drop”はクラシックとモダン、過去の業績と未来への挑戦、伝統とテクノロジーがミックスしてるんだ。

Many of you know that I love coffee, some of you may also know that I LOVE Champagne!!
僕がコーヒーを好きなことを知っている方は多いと思うんだけど、実はそれと
同じくらいシャンパンが大好きなんだ！
Well New Years Eve is a great time to open a bottle of champagne or 2 or 3 (*0*)!!
Mostly, I’m looking forward to the Champagne!!
ニューイヤーは、シャンパンを開けるには（１本じゃなくて、２・３本ね＾＾）もってこいの時期！！
もちろん、ニューイヤーってのは口実でシャンパンが飲みたいだけなんだけどね！
