During Golden Week, I traveled to Kyushu.
It was a lot of fun to spend time in the countryside and do some sightseeing.
I spent most of my time in nature enjoying different beautiful places and checking out different shrines and temples.
ゴールデンウィーク中に九州に旅行しました。
田舎でのんびりしたり、観光したりして楽しむことができました。
多くの時間を自然の中で過ごし、美しい場所をあちこち楽しんだり、いろいろな神社やお寺を見て回ったりしたんです。
First, I visited Dazaifu shrine and was amazed to see that there was a forest on the roof!
This was very unique and impressive. Apparently, this shrine is dedicated to scholars.
まず、太宰府天満宮に行きましたが、屋根の上に森があるのを見て感動しました。
とてもユニークで印象的でした。この神社は学問の神様が祀られているそうですね。
The next day, I went to Takachiho and got to see the famous Takachiho waterfall! It was very beautiful.
I rode on a boat so that I could see the waterfall up close.
It was a magical experience. I felt like I was in the forest in the Studio Ghibli anime Princess Mononoke.
次の日は、高千穂に行き、有名な高千穂峡（真名井の滝）を見ました！すごくきれいでした。
滝を間近で見るためにボートに乗りました。
それは魔法のような体験で、まるでジブリのアニメ『もののけ姫』の森の中にいるような気分を味わえました。
I then went and saw a few Shinto shrines in Takachiho.
They felt like very mystical places, and each shrine involved a small hike through the forest, which was very peaceful.
It was such a cool experience.
そして、高千穂の神社にも足を運びました。
とても神秘的な雰囲気で、それぞれの神社に行くには少し森を歩かなければならないのですが、それものんびりできていい時間でした。
本当に素晴らしい経験だったわ。
The last day, I went to Kumamoto to check out the volcano and the surrounding areas.
I ended up seeing a beautiful field and lake at sunset, where there were wild horses!It was so gorgeous.
最終日には、熊本に行って火山やその周辺を見て回りました。
なんと、夕暮れ時には、野生の馬がいる美しい野原と湖を見ることができたんです！見事なお天気でした。
Another highlight of my trip was eating tonkotsu ramen, a specialty of Kyushu cuisine.
It was so delicious, I tried all different types.Here are a few I tried:
旅行のもう一つのハイライトは、九州のご当地フードである豚骨ラーメンを食べることでした。
とっても美味しくて、色々な種類のラーメンを食べました。写真をいくつか載せますね。
My trip to Kyushu was so relaxing and fun.I came back to Tokyo feeling refreshed and reinvigorated.
