Hi, everyone!
Today I’d like to tell you about my recent day trip to Enoshima.
Many of my friends, and even some of my students at b, recommended Enoshima to me, so I decided to check it out.

最近行った江ノ島への日帰り旅行について書きたいと思います。
色々な友達やメンバーの皆さんが、江ノ島を勧めてくれたので、行ってみることにしました。
After arriving at Katase-Enoshima station, I walked across the bridge to reach the island.
It was very warm and sunny; perfect weather for exploring around the area!
片瀬江ノ島駅についてから、島への橋を歩いて渡しました。
その日はとても暖かくて良い天気で歩き回るのにぴったりでした！
For lunch I ate Chirashi, but later on, I tried this huge ebi senbei.
It was bigger than my hand! I have never seen anything like it before.
ランチにチラシ寿司を食べた後に、とっても大きなエビせんべいも食べました。
私の手のひらより大きかったです！こんなの今まで見たことない！
Next, I went to Enoshima Shrine.
In America, we don’t have many shrines or temples, so I want to visit as many as I can while I’m in Japan.
There was even a wild cat that came to visit too!
そして江島神社へ行きました。
アメリカには神社やお寺はあまりないので、日本にいる間にたくさん行きたいと思います。
野良ねこも来ていましたよ！
Afterwards, I went to the Samuel Cocking Garden and the Sea Candle, a lighthouse with a fantastic view from the top.
その後に、サムエル・コッキング苑と頂上からの景色が素晴らしいシーキャンドル（展望灯台）へ行きました。
I walked along the coastline, where there was lots of wildlife.
There were lots of colorful fish and crabs swimming and crawling in the tide pools. I managed to get a picture of a stork catching a fish!
たくさんの野生動物のいる海岸沿いを歩きました。
潮溜まりには、たくさんの泳いでいる色鮮やかな魚やカニがいました。コウノトリが魚を捕まえる写真を撮れましたよ！
My final stop was actually in Kamakura, where I visited Hase-dera and the surrounding gardens.
I always feel very peaceful and relaxed when walking around Japanese gardens.
最後にはなんと鎌倉の長谷寺と近くの庭園に行きました。
私は日本庭園を散策するたびに平和な雰囲気にとてもリラックスします。
I really enjoyed my trip to Enoshima (and Kamakura)!
I hope to come back to Enoshima again to explore more places.
There was a lot I wanted to do here, but unfortunately I didn’t have enough time for them all.
Next time, I want to go to the Enoshima Aquarium and the Great Buddha of Kamakura (Daibutsu).

江の島と鎌倉への旅は、とっても楽しかったです。
また行って、もっとたくさんの場所に行ってみたいです。
行きたい所はたくさんありましたが、時間切れでした。
次回は新江ノ島水族館と鎌倉の大仏へ行ってみたいです。
