海外の公衆トイレで使う英語｜有料・暗証番号・故障時のフレーズ

海外旅行中に急いでトイレを探したら、入口にゲートがある、硬貨が必要、カフェのレシートに暗証番号が書かれている――ということがあります。場所を尋ねる英語だけでなく、利用条件やトラブルを伝える表現も知っておくと安心です。

公衆トイレの場所を尋ねる英語

看板ではWC、Toilets、男女のピクトグラムなどが使われます。out of orderは故障中、temporarily closedは一時閉鎖中です。

有料トイレで料金・支払い方法を確認する英語

ヨーロッパの駅や観光地などでは、有料の公衆トイレもあります。入口に係員や改札型ゲートがあり、硬貨・カード・タッチ決済で支払う方式があります。

公衆トイレが少ない場所では、カフェやレストランのトイレを利用することがあります。利用者専用の場合が多いので、勝手に入らず尋ねましょう。
