Hello!! This is my first blog so I’m very excited to write this!

こんにちは！初めてのブログにわくわくしているKarina（カリーナ）です！

In this blog, I want to share with you one of my reasons to be in Japan and that is to learn the art of flowers.

Before I came to Japan, I used to work as an events designer in New York and create wedding parties.

このブログでは私が日本に来たきっかけやフラワーアートについてお話しようと思います。

日本に来る前は、ニューヨークでウェディングパーティーのイベントデザイナーとして働いていました。

As I dealt with mostly the interior design part of the wedding, I have never had the chance to learn floral arranging in New York.

And in my opinion, Japan offers one of the best floral designs in the world!

So I am currently attending a flower design school called Mami Flower Design and working part time at Nicolai Bergmann Flower Design Company.

主にウェディングのインテリアデザインを担当していたから、ニューヨークではフラワーアレンジメントについて学ぶチャンスが全然
なかったの。

そして個人的に、日本のフラワーデザインは世界一だと思うわ！

それで今はマミフラワーデザインというスクールに通いながらニコライ・バーグマン・フラワーデザインという会社でアルバイトをしています。

I am really having the time of my life as I am learning so much and figuring out my own style of design.

Working with flowers is somewhat refreshing and inspiring.

I get inspired by nature a lot and I believe it is up to the designer on how we can capture that and turn it into a new idea that expresses our character and style.

フラワーデザインについて沢山学び、デザインする上での自分のスタイルを模索する充実した日々を送っています。

花を扱うことってなかなか清々しくてインスピレーションが沸いてくるんですよ！

普段も自然からアイデアが浮かぶことが多くて、それをいかに個性やスタイルを表現する新しいアイデアに変えるかは
デザイナー次第だと思うんです。
