Growing up, decorating the Christmas tree with my family was the most important part of the holiday season.
I grew up during a time when the more decorations you had on your Christmas tree, the better it looked!
Times have changed, but I still decorate my tree to the max every year.
子どもの頃、家族と一緒にクリスマスツリーを飾ることは、ホリデーシーズンで何よりも大切にしていたことだったの。
クリスマスツリーの飾りが多ければ多いほど素敵に見える、そんな時代に育ったの！
時代は変わったけれど、私は今でも毎年ツリーを思い切り飾っているわ。

Let me teach you how I decorate my tree.
First, you need to hang the lights and garland.
Garland comes in many forms, but my family has been using beaded garland for the past three generations.
Next, hang the baubles and other decorations that are considered “filler” on the tree.
I have red baubles and gold stars on my tree this year.
私のツリーの飾り方をご紹介するわね。
まず、ライトとガーランド（花や植物、果実を使ったひも状の飾り）を吊るします。
ガーランドにはさまざまな形があるんだけど、私の家族は三世代前からビーズのガーランドを使用しているの。

Then, fill the tree with your special decorations.
Don’t forget to add some to the inside branches.
Can you find the black cat hiding in the tree?
The most important and treasured decorations go at the top.
My grandmother knitted a rooster ornament, and it’s my most precious decoration.
Finally, top your tree with a star or angel, and add your presents or decorations around the base.
