My First Blog by Wendy

Hello and nice to meet you – I’m Wendy! I am a new lesson partner here at b so I thought I would introduce myself in this blog.
はじめまして、新しくbのレッスンパートナーになったウェンディです！このブログで自己紹介をするわね。

My name is Wendy and I’m from a small city in England called Salisbury.
Not many people have heard of my hometown, but it’s famous for its cathedral (which has the tallest spire in England!), medieval buildings and being close to Stonehenge.
I also lived in Bristol for about four years when I was at university studying psychology.
Bristol is a large multicultural city that is known for its entertainment.
There are a lot of festivals, concerts and events in Bristol.
Have you ever been to the UK? If you have, what did you think of it?! If you haven’t, are you interested in going?!
私の名前はウェンディンで、ソールズベリーというイギリスの小さな街の出身です。
私の故郷を聞いたことがある人は少ないと思いますが、大聖堂（イングランドで一番高い尖塔があります！）や中世の建物があり、ストーンヘンジに近いことで有名よ。
また、大学で心理学を学んでいた時にはブリストルに4年ほど住んでいたわ。
ブリストルは多文化な大都市で、エンターテイメントが盛んなことで知られているの
フェスティバルもコンサートもイベントもたくさんあるのよ。
イギリスに行ったことはありますか？行ったことがある方はどうだったかしら？まだな方は行ってみたいかしら？

I moved to Japan in 2017,and this Summer my parents came to visit me for the first time!
We did a lot of sightseeing in Tokyo, Kyoto and Osaka.
Just as I love Japan, my parents loved it too!
私が日本に来たのは2017年なんだけど、今年の夏、初めて両親が訪ねてきたの！
東京、京都、大阪をたくさん観光したわ。
私と同じくらい両親も日本が大好きになったわ！

Did you have a Summer holiday this year? Did you go anywhere or do anything?!
Although I love the summer season, I am glad that it’s over as it’s finally starting to cool down!
When the weather is cooler in Autumn, I like to go hiking and camping!
What is your favourite season, and what do you like to do during it?!
この夏、皆さんは夏休みを取りましたか？どこかに出かけたり、何かしたかしら？
夏も大好きだけど、やっと涼しくなってきたから、夏が終わって嬉しい！
秋の爽やかな季節になったら、ハイキングやキャンプに行くのが好きなの！
あなたのお気に入りの季節はいつ？その季節に何をするのが好きですか？
