My husband, children and I were in Atami during Golden Week. We almost always spend long National holidays at my husband's family house in the
mountain. It's nice to get away from fast-paced Tokyo life every now and then. The house isn't so big, but it's special feature is the bath, which
has natural onsen water.

今年のゴールデンウィークは、夫と子供たちとで熱海に行ってきたの。
いつも長期の連休には山の中にある夫の家族の家で過ごすの。せかせかした東京から離れてとても快適よ。家は大きくないけれど、お風呂は特別でね、天然温泉が出るの！

A few friends joined us and stayed overnight. It was a full house, but everyone enjoyed. The kids were pleased to have a couple of their friends
over, also. Since the weather was nice, we barbecued out on the deck. We had plenty of meat, seafood and veggies on the grill. I definitely ate more
than enough!

友達も何人か来て、一緒に夜をすごしたわ。狭くなっちゃったけど、みんなとても楽しかったし、子供達も彼らと過ごせてとても喜んでいたわ。
ずっと天気も良くて、テラスでバーベキューをしたの。沢山のお肉に魚介、野菜を焼いて食べたわ。食べ過ぎちゃった！

We couldn’t go to the beach this time since it was still a bit cool.
Instead, we went fishing at a pier nearby. We saw one man catch some squid.
My son was delighted to catch a small fish.

まだ少し肌寒くて海には行けなかったんだけど、近くの埠頭に釣りに行ったの。
イカを沢山釣っている人がいてね、私の息子は小さな魚を釣って大喜びしていたわ。

On our last day there everyone had already returned to Tokyo, so we spent the day relaxing and getting ready for the trip back home. It was such a fun time that I wasn't ready to leave yet.

最終日にはみんな先に東京に戻っていたから、私たちはくつろだり、帰る支度をしたりして過ごしたわ。とても充実した時間だったから、もう帰りたくなくなっちゃった！
